The short version: Ryvo has no account system, and the playlist details you enter stay on your own device. We are not interested in collecting anything we don't need.

What stays on your device

Your M3U URL, or your Xtream host, username and password, are stored locally on the device Ryvo is installed on. They are used to fetch your own playlist and for nothing else. They are not uploaded to us, and we cannot read them.

The same applies to your favourites, your watch progress and any settings you change inside the app.

What the app connects to

Ryvo connects to the playlist provider you configure, in order to load channels, guide data and streams. It may also check for app updates. Ryvo does not supply any content itself and has no relationship with your provider.

This website

This site uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file (including your IP address) as part of serving it.

If you enter an email address on the launch-notification form, it is currently saved only in your own browser's local storage — nothing is transmitted anywhere. When the mailing list goes live this page will be updated to say exactly what happens to it, before any address is ever sent.

Payments

When purchasing goes live, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider. Card details are entered with that provider and are never seen or stored by Ryvo.

Children

Ryvo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Since we hold very little, most requests are quick. Email privacy@ryvo.tv.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the change is described here.

This page is written in plain English rather than legalese. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a solicitor before Ryvo takes payments.
